En pacientes con insuficiencia hepática, no se requiere ajuste de dosis.

Método de administración
Las tabletas deben tragarse sin masticar con líquido. Se pueden tomar independientemente de las comidas. Si se toma con el estómago vacío, el principio activo se absorbe más rápidamente. Los comprimidos de ciprofloxacina no deben tomarse con productos lácteos (p. Ej., Leche, yogur) o zumos de frutas enriquecidos con minerales (p. Ej., Zumo de naranja fortificado con calcio) (ver sección 4.5).
En casos severos o si el paciente no puede tomar tabletas (por ejemplo, pacientes con nutrición enteral), se recomienda comenzar la terapia con ciprofloxacina intravenosa hasta que sea posible un cambio a la administración oral.
